In compiling the volume, I primarily had the concept of contribution in mind: the contribution of female authors to modern and postmodern Hungarian literature, and on the other hand, the contribution of feminist critical thinking to trends in literary studies. Who is considered a good writer and who is not? instead of raising questions, I propose another approach. In my opinion, it is worth investigating what female authors have added to Hungarian literature and culture; What new questions and interpretation possibilities have the aspects of feminist criticism and theory contributed to literary and cultural research.
